Baptized by sweat, born again on a lacrosse ball. The first half of class will bring you down to earth with a soulful slow flow. (Note: This is a chatturanga free zone.) Then hit the deck, grab your bag of SOMA SYSTEM® self-bodywork tools, and for the next 45 minutes take on the demons lurking in your hips, back and shoulders while experiencing introductory SOMA SYSTEM® deep tissue self-bodywork techniques. When you strike it rich, you can bring your personal bodyworker along with you to festivals, but in the meantime a group exorcism on the mountain will have to do!

SOMA SYSTEM® was developed by Roman Torgovitsky, Ph.D., Harvard trained Sleep scientist to overcome insomnia and burn out. It is a comprehensive system that uses combination of physical and psychological non-pharmaceutical interventions to restore health of soft tissues, relieve muscle pain and tension, resolve insomnia and overcome depressive and anxious moods. In 2014, Roman Torgovitsky, Ph.D. established Healing War Scars, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans in Ukraine to overcome war-induced psychological trauma. So far over 3000 Ukrainian veterans have benefited from practicing SOMA SYSTEM®.
